Here are just some examples of what gifts from generous people like you can do. Remember, every gift helps no matter its size. Your gift of... $5.50 gives a program participant a round trip metro card for a job interview. $25 buys a program participant business attire for a job interview. $50 provides lunch for 15-20 program participants to strengthen our community ties and fellowship. $150 will give a participant an OSHA certification to secure employment during re-entry. $200 will provide hygiene care packets for 20 participants. $500 sends 25 participants from any of our Common-Unity youth programs on a cultural or educational outing to expand their horizons. $750 will provide 1 week of job readiness in-class training for 10 participants. $1,000 will enable us to provide 1 week of fatherhood skills development classes for 10 participants in order to assist in establishing healthy family relationship. $2,000 will buy 10 beds and other furniture, as needed, to fully furnish Exodus' new transitional housing program in our Poughkeepsie site for 10 people coming home from prison, who would otherwise be homeless. $3,000 enables us to continue our trainings, especially our TASC/High School Equivalency degree training, to better engage and serve our participants. $5,000 provides a participant with a full year of support services to help them successfully transition back into the community."
