Wellness Center
The Wellness Center is an extension of Exodus, licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). We provide compassionate and client-focused approaches in substance use, outpatient treatment programs to individuals 18 years of age or older. Entry into care begins with a comprehensive assessment* by a trained, appropriately credentialed clinician, followed by a medical assessment conducted by a licensed healthcare professional. Participants who meet the criteria for admission are then placed into individualized and evidence-based, quality services based upon the assessments, presenting signs & symptoms, and other placement criteria. Based upon their individual needs, participants attend group therapy for an average of three days per week for one hour and meet individually with their assigned primary counselor weekly. By developing individualized treatment plans, clinical staff establish and develop a therapeutic alliance with their clients in order to address the participants’ specific addiction history, current substance use, or other behavioral or social problems and help focus on their specific clinical needs, based upon a mutual collaboration with the clinical staff.
The Wellness Center is built upon evidence-based, best practices and 12-Step recovery principles that empower our participants to become independently self-sufficient and productive members of society.
